This is an exciting opportunity to work within a caring environment, supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) to achieve their full potential. About the Role: As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to support children with a variety of needs, including but not limited to autism, dyslexia, ADHD, and learning disabilities. Your role will be to provide tailored support to individual students and small groups, helping them engage with the curriculum and develop their confidence both academically and socially. Key Responsibilities: Support students with special educational needs, ensuring their inclusion in class activities. Assist with the delivery of individualised learning plans and strategies. Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment that promotes emotional and academic growth. Work closely with teachers and other staff to monitor and track student progress. Assist with personal care where required. Provide a nurturing and encouraging atmosphere to build student confidence and independence. The Ideal Candidate: Experience working with children, ideally in a SEN or educational setting. A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their individual needs. Patience, empathy, and the ability to build rapport with students. A positive, proactive approach and excellent communication skills.
