About The Role
We're looking for a highly motivated and customer-focused Transport and Logistics Agent to join our team in Brighton. You'll be right at the heart of making sure vehicle collections and deliveries go smoothly, sorting out any bumps in the road, and working with people inside and outside Motorway.
In This Role, You Will
1. Be the first port of call for any collection or delivery hiccups, proactively finding solutions to keep things hassle-free.
2. Flag up recurring issues to your line manager and the wider Transport Operations team, keeping an eye on progress to make sure service levels improve.
3. Chip in on defined project work, working towards team goals and improving processes.
4. Process new transport requests, making sure all collections and deliveries are booked in good time.
5. Keep in touch with our transport partners, making sure communication is prompt and efficient.
6. Oversee the end-to-end Motorway-owned transport claims process, staying impartial and analytical.
7. Review and approve invoices, spotting and querying any oddities with our transport providers.
8. Handle customer complaints effectively, showing strong attention to detail and an analytical mind.
About You
1. You've got excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and a professional telephone manner.
2. You're super organised, with a proven track record of prioritising tasks.
3. You're a proactive problem-solver who can think outside the box to streamline processes and embrace change.
4. You're comfortable handling escalated issues on your own and putting preventative measures in place.
5. You've got strong admin skills and experience using Google Sheets.
6. Experience using Zendesk is a bonus, but not a deal-breaker.
7. Experience in a logistics, customer service, or admin role is desirable.
