About the Role
Your role as Head of Information Integrity will be vital in providing strategic direction on issues and the identification of innovative solutions to freedom of expression challenges ensuring accurate and reliable data and information are publicly accessible and empower individuals to claim their rights.
What you will be doing day to day
* Drive ARTICLE 19’s innovative thinking and programming on information integrity to ensure freedom of expression is protected in global information ecosystems.
* Work with key colleagues to provide technical input on strategic and operational plans.
* Represent ARTICLE 19 in international fora to amplify our messages and solidify our leadership in information integrity.
* Identify, build, and maintain relationships with donors to secure funding for programmatic work.
* Establish and manage a team within the Information Integrity programme that delivers and coordinates global programmatic work.
What you will bring to the role
You will bring exceptional leadership and experience in developing strategies that will guide our organisation to achieve our global objectives. Your in-depth knowledge of how ARTICLE 19 can protect freedom of expression within a global information ecosystem addressing issues such as mis- or disinformation, foreign and domestic interference, and propaganda for war will keep us at the forefront of debates.
