The impact you’ll own We're looking for a Product Manager specialized in User Research to help us better understand our customers' needs in climate risk management and adaptation strategies. This role will be crucial in shaping our product development through deep customer insights and feedback. Customer Research & Insights: Lead comprehensive user research initiatives, including customer interviews, surveys, and feedback sessions with financial services clients to understand their climate risk assessment and adaptation needs. Requirements Translation: Transform customer feedback and market research into clear business requirements and product specifications, working closely with product and engineering teams. Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with Customer Success teams to establish strong relationships with clients, facilitating ongoing dialogue about their climate adaptation and resilience strategies. Voice of Customer Program: Develop and manage a structured program to regularly capture customer feedback, needs, and pain points, ensuring this information drives product development. User Journey Mapping: Create detailed user journey maps and personas for different customer segments, identifying opportunities for product enhancement and innovation. Research Planning & Execution: Design and implement research plans that align with product strategy, including methods for gathering both qualitative and quantitative data about user behaviour and needs. Essential Skills Strong experience in user research or similar role within a B2B SaaS environment, preferably working with financial services customers. Strong track record of various user research methodologies e.g. conducting customer interviews, creating research plans, and translating findings into actionable product requirements. Excellent stakeholder management skills with experience presenting research findings to senior stakeholders and C-suite executives. Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex user feedback into clear, actionable insights for product development. Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify patterns and insights from both qualitative and quantitative data. Desirable Skills Knowledge or interest in climate change impacts and adaptation strategies, particularly in financial risk assessment. Experience working with financial services products or enterprise SaaS solutions. Familiarity with agile development methodologies and product development processes. Understanding of risk assessment frameworks and financial modeling concepts.
