We are now recruiting a System Integration Engineer to be responsible for the integration, testing, and delivery of 3rd Party Systems into the Prepay Platform, primarily the “Tango Switch Transaction Processing system.”
This role will work alongside the rest of Engineering, Project Management, Operation, Clients, and 3rd-party systems suppliers.
Key Result Areas:
* Delivery of high-quality system releases into production
* Take responsibility for the effective resolution of issues as they arise
* Effective and efficient testing of systems to verify business requirements are met
* Proactively look for ways to improve quality, stability, and performance of the platform
* Building great working relations with 3rd-Party system suppliers
What You Will Be Doing:
* Develop a detailed technical understanding of the processing systems managed by the team - and how they function
* Ensure high-quality deliveries to the prepay system, take ownership and accountability for problem resolution and work with external customers and 3rd party suppliers to ensure customer integrations are successful.
* Use manual and automated-testing tools to efficiently assure quality and verify deliveries meet business requirements.
* Develop a deep understanding of the PPS products and platform to aid investigation of issues. Become familiar with legal and regulation aspects of the payment industry.
* Strive to continually develop and improve methods, tools, and techniques for deployment, integration, and automated testing of the Switch.
What We Want From You:
Essential Experience:
* Linux (or Unix) operating systems
* Git
* SQL Databases (any flavour)
* Manual testing of systems
Experience of the following would be beneficial:
* Continuous Integration/Deployment technologies: E.g. Puppet, Artifactory, Jenkins
* Automated testing technologies
* Software development experience
