About the Role: Senior Quantity Surveyor
We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a dynamic commercial team based in Chatham, Kent. This role offers the chance to oversee multiple ongoing projects across the region, ranging from 50 to 500-unit traditional new builds, including timber frame developments. Responsibilities for Senior Quantity Surveyor
Manage costs, budgets, and forecasting across residential projects in Kent.
Collaborate closely with the Commercial Director, Chief Surveyor, and other senior team members to ensure financial and contractual targets are met.
Support and mentor junior staff, including trainees and apprentices, to build a strong and cohesive team.
Oversee procurement, subcontractor management, and project variations.
Utilise COINS software for accurate financial management and reporting.
Work in a hybrid environment, balancing office, site, and remote working.Requirements for Senior Quantity Surveyor
Proven experience in residential developments, ideally with both developers and contractors.
Strong knowledge of traditional new builds and timber frame construction.
Proficiency in COINS software is highly desirable.
A team player with strong communication and mentoring skills.
