I am working exclusively with one of the world’s largest healthcare manufacturing organizations who are looking to add an IAM Engineer to their global team of 30+ specialists.
The role will be focusing on the design, implementation, and management of Active Directory (AD) and Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) across their global infrastructure.
This position is crucial to maintaining the security, availability, and scalability of the directory services, which are integral to their identity and access management framework.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design, implement, and manage AD and Azure AD services.
* Ensure the security, availability, and scalability of directory services.
* Collaborate with cybersecurity, IT operations, and business units to develop and enforce access control policies.
* Manage user identities and support seamless integration with cloud and on-premises applications.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements such as GDPR and HIPAA.
* Continuously evaluate and adopt emerging technologies to enhance security and operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience in managing AD and Azure AD.
* Strong understanding of identity and access management principles.
* Familiarity with regulatory requirements (GDPR, HIPAA).
* Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
* Ability to stay updated with emerging technologies.
Technical Expertise in Directory Services:
* Extensive experience with AD and Azure AD administration in large-scale, global organizations.
* Proficient in configuring and managing Group Policies, DNS, DHCP, and related services.
IAM Knowledge:
* Strong understanding of IAM concepts, including directory services, authentication, authorization, and identity lifecycle management.
* Familiar with PAM, Certificate Services, and SSO/MFA solutions.
Security and Compliance Competence:
* In-depth knowledge of security processes for directory services, including access controls, password policies, and audit logging.
* Experience with GDPR, HIPAA, and other regulatory compliance.
Scripting and Automation Skills:
* Proficient in scripting languages like PowerShell and Python for automating directory management tasks and integrating with IAM tools.
