Job Description:
Brook Street (UK) Ltd is delighted to be working on behalf of one of the biggest Public Sector Organisations located in Northern Ireland. Our reputable client is seeking a Senior Clerical Officer to provide administration support within the Children and Young People's Service.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide effective administrative support for the daily functional and operational staff.
2. Process invoices and liaise with service users and Central Support Team Officers.
3. Conduct typing and word-processing duties.
4. Support in undertaking comprehensive research and investigations as required.
5. Assist in the collation of factual data and statistical information.
6. Prepare letters, minutes, notes, and other clerical support for officers.
7. Respond to queries and issues in the absence of the programme manager.
8. Order and monitor supplies of stationery and office requisitions.
9. Maintain efficient recording and filing systems.
10. Delegate tasks to the office team in the absence of senior management.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Hold Five GCSEs at Grade C or above or equivalent (including English Language).
2. At least 1 year of suitable Clerical and/or administrative experience with sound knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Skills:
1. Professional and effective telephone techniques.
2. Good oral and written communication skills.
3. Excellent communication and organisational skills.
