We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Global Manufacturing Excellence Lead for Powder Blending to lead our Manufacturing Excellence program within the Taste & Wellbeing division. You will lead the implementation of the Givaudan Production System for Powder Blends, focusing on targeted cost, quality, safety, and sustainability improvements.
This role can be based in one of our regional Head Quarters/ Major Powders site in Kemptthal (CH), Mako (HU), Cincinnati or Chicago (US) and you will report directly to the Global Head of Manufacturing Excellence and Process Technology.
In this exciting role you will:
Manufacturing Excellence Program Development
1. Guide the Manufacturing Excellence program for T&W powder blends, building a project pipeline and tracking progress.
2. Establish a global expert network in Powder Blending and develop training and certification programs.
Process Optimization
1. Lead the development and implementation of Powder Blends standards to enhance manufacturing processes with a focus on sustainability, safety, quality, and efficiency.
2. Oversee the improvement process from idea generation to implementation, applying best practices for effective roll-out.
Performance Metrics
1. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate dry blending performance.
2. Analyze the entire value chain to implement changes that achieve performance goals and reduce Powder Blend costs per kilogram.
Training and Development
1. Provide training and support to manufacturing staff on best practices, new technologies, and process improvements.
2. Conduct Powder Blends audits and establish know-how standards, along with a comprehensive training and certification program.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
1. Collaborate with local Operations, Quality, Continuous Improvement (CI), and Engineering teams to ensure agreement and support continuous improvement programs.
2. Align the Powder Blend Manufacturing Excellence roadmap with the CI program to deliver expected impacts.
Innovation & Strategy
1. Stay updated on new developments to improve manufacturing processes.
2. Define the global framework for the Powder Blend Manufacturing Strategy and support capital expenditure solutions according to it.
Your professional profile includes:
1. Master of Engineering in Food Technology.
2. 3+ years of direct experience in a LEAN environment, with at least 1 year in a leadership position managing local or regional teams.
3. Experience with Powder Blending in Food Industry.
4. Lean or Six Sigma Green Belt certification from a reputable institution.
5. Experience with accounting, budgeting, and process control.
6. Experience building cross-functional teams.
7. Proficient in Business English; knowledge of a foreign language is an advantage.
