Job summary:
The Claims Team is looking for a Warranty Triage Handler to guide claimants through the claims process, providing advice regarding suitable repairers and relevant liabilities. Service Advisors qualify claims under supervision, ensuring accurate and efficient claims resolution while adhering to company procedures, insured liabilities, and customer sensitivities.
What you’ll do:
1. Provide accurate claims advice across a variety of products
2. Resolve claims through multiple platforms: telephone, fax, email, and online
3. Understand customer requirements and work with them to ensure proper handling
4. Maintain company service levels
5. Support the Sales team with accurate and timely information
6. Deliver professional and friendly service
7. Produce reports/spreadsheets on claims issues/queries upon request
8. Arrange vehicle assessments
9. Perform other reasonable duties as required
What you’ll bring:
Skills and competencies:
1. High literacy and numeracy skills
2. Initiative
3. Excellent written and oral communication skills
4. Knowledge of modern motor vehicle workings
5. Ability to work effectively under pressure, independently or in a team
6. Good planning and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize
What we’re looking for:
* Experience in a customer service role
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
* Strong voice/soft skills
* Mechanical background or equivalent service advisor experience demonstrating knowledge of modern motor vehicles
Preferred:
* Experience in an FCA regulated environment
* Background in insurance product administration and claims resolution
* Hands-on mechanical experience
