As part of PA’s Delivery stream, PA’s Centre of Excellence for all project, programme, and portfolio capability, MPS works across Defence, major projects & infrastructure, transport, energy and utilities, and the public sector in client-facing roles on long-term assignments. We are now expanding further across the UK.
As a Project Manager/PMO specialist, you will play a pivotal role in guiding and executing complex projects and programmes, using your expertise in planning & scheduling, risk management, and budgeting. Your analytical skills will be crucial in creating insightful reports to guide decision-making and create extra value for our clients.

Location
Flexible working - we operate in a hybrid working environment, where there is limited requirement to attend your base office and travel is driven by client needs. Client locations include:
* Bristol
* Andover
* Portsmouth
* Cardiff
* Swindon
You will have the opportunity to:
* Collaborate with cross-functional project teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects from initiation to closure.
* Develop and execute project plans, defining scope, goals, deliverables, resources, and timelines.
* Apply various project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) as appropriate to different project contexts.
* Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, implementing mitigation strategies.
* Foster strong long-term client relationships by maintaining regular communication and managing expectations.
* Monitor project budgets and resource allocation, ensuring efficient utilisation of resources.
* Implement effective change management strategies to facilitate smooth project transitions.
* Undertake stakeholder engagement activities, facilitating collaboration among all project participants.
* Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members.
Qualifications
About You
* Sole British nationality is a must, as this role will involve working with secure clients.
* Experience in project management consulting/PMO or related roles.
* Strong expertise in applying various project management methodologies and tools.
* Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams.
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree or certification in Project Management is highly desirable.
* Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Analytical mindset with the ability to identify and solve problems.
* Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with clients and team members.
