Payroll Advisor – Leeds - Permanent – Hybrid
Salary: up to £32,000 (DOE)
Job Summary
Portfolio Payroll is working with a large organisation in Leeds that is recruiting for a Payroll Advisor to join their team. The role offers an excellent working environment, hybrid working from home, and great opportunities for progression.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
1. Utilize technical skills including payroll system experience and advanced Excel skills (VLookUps, Pivot Tables).
2. Support a busy payroll department handling high volumes of starters and leavers.
3. Manage multiple payrolls with varying shift patterns.
4. Provide comprehensive advice to employees regarding payroll queries.
5. Ensure all payments are made within deadlines, including reconciliations.
6. Perform manual calculations as needed.
7. Experience with T&A systems is beneficial.
Desirable Skills and Attributes
* At least 2 years of payroll experience.
* Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Team-oriented with excellent communication skills.
* Confidence in Excel.

Working Hours
Normal working hours are 37.5 hours per week, from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, including a 1-hour unpaid break.
