An exciting opportunity has emerged for an Instructor Demonstrator Assessor in Brickwork/Multi Skills to join our Construction team. This is a fantastic opportunity to help shape the next generation of Construction professionals while playing a key role in a thriving academic community.
What You’ll Be Doing:
As an Instructor Demonstrator Assessor in Brickwork/Multi Skills, you will:
Provide support to lecturing staff in the delivery of competence-based skills in accordance with standards set by external bodies.
Facilitate training, demonstrations, assessments, and support for students participating in competence-based or skills-based learning programmes.
Assist individual students or trainees in developing personalised learning plans to achieve their goals and meet externally defined standards.
Ensure the maintenance of learning resources and equipment utilised in the learning programme, reporting any faults or necessary repairs to the appropriate technician or manager.
Collaborate with teaching and administrative staff to support the student application and enrolment processes.
Offer guidance to students engaged in learning programmes, including conducting one-to-one tutorials.
What We’re Looking For:
We seek candidates who:
Hold a relevant trade qualification at a minimum of Level 3/NVQ3 in Brickwork, along with GCSEs in English and Maths.
Have up-to-date knowledge and/or experience in teaching Brickwork or Multi Skills.
Demonstrate effective classroom management, excellent time management, and strong communication skills.
Are proficient in creating teaching materials using Information Learning Technology.
Possess current and relevant industrial experience, as a time-served apprentice in the Construction Industry as a Bricklayer.
Teaching and/or training experience is desirable.
