Model Based Systems Engineers Based: Warton x 4 days Contract: 12 Months Onsite: onsite Monday - Thursday Rate: Various rates dependent on experience BAE Systems are seeking skilled Engineers to join the critical Dreadnought submarine programme. This opportunity involves working on the development of the Active Vehicle Control System (AVCS), an essential system that ensures the manoeuvrability and safety of the submarine The Job: Model-based design and integration of Display, Health & Data Management functions. Collaborate with stakeholders to capture and define requirements. Develop control models, test harnesses, and document designs. Verify and validate requirements in preparation for delivery. Contribute to safety analysis and process harmonisation. Foster continuous communication within the AVC team Experience Proficiency in MathWorks tools (Simulink) and Model-based systems engineering. Strong communication and teamwork abilities, with a focus on cross-functional collaboration.
