Are you looking to make a difference in young people's lives and gain valuable classroom experience? We're currently recruiting an enthusiastic and reliable Teaching Assistant to support a secondary school in Preston on a full-time, temporary basis starting in September.
About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
1. Support students in and out of the classroom, including those with additional needs
2. Assist teachers with lesson preparation and classroom management
3. Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment
4. Provide one-to-one or small group support to help pupils achieve their potential
What We're Looking For:
1. Previous experience working with children or young people (school-based or similar settings)
2. A patient, caring, and flexible approach
3. Strong communication and teamwork skills
4. A genuine interest in education and supporting young learners
Desirable (but not essential):
1. A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification
2. Experience in a secondary school environment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
