What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Design Technology Technician to support our Design Technology Department.
The successful candidate will
• be a well-motivated practitioner, keen to show their interest in Design Technology
• organised, knowledgeable and experienced in working across Design Technology
• contribute to the development of the department as part of a dedicated team
• have a professional attitude that is open to innovative ways of working
• be committed to working in partnership with the Design Technology team and a range of other staff
• be flexible and adaptable when faced with challenges
• have a flexible approach in order to support a range of duties in the Design Technology Department including areas of food and textiles
• support the day-to-day running of the Design Technology spaces
The Downs School, a Foundation, 11-18 comprehensive school, is a successful, oversubscribed, and popular school serving the Downs area of West Berkshire. The roll is over 1400 with a well-established sixth form.
