As the trusted advisor to the Country Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving business decisions and shaping commercial strategies. You will collaborate with divisional teams to identify growth opportunities, perform financial analyses, and support the overall commercial performance of the business. What youll do: Provide forward-looking financial insights and analysis to support decision-making, ensuring commercial profitability and effective management of business overheads. Analyse and communicate financial risks and opportunities, ensuring timely and accurate reporting for transparent decision-making. Collaborate in the preparation and execution of commercial action plans to sustainably improve the countrys performance, both in the short and medium term. Actively participate in the S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) process, providing financial analysis and challenging outcomes to drive better results. Lead by example in promoting a strong Safety leadership culture and actively engage in company-wide Health & Safety initiatives. Manage financial aspects of rebates and credit management, working closely with Etex Business Services teams in the UK and Europe. Challenge and monitor commercial performance, carrying out ad-hoc financial analyses and advising on key negotiations for material decisions. Take joint accountability for managing Recurring Free Cash Flow alongside other functions, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Prepare management reports in alignment with all stakeholders, ensuring that decisions are based on accurate, timely, and relevant financial data. Act as the main contact for external auditors, Shared Service Centres, and Internal Control, ensuring compliance with Etex accounting principles and deadlines. Support continuous improvement by maintaining a network of peers, sharing best practices, and enhancing the commercial controlling process. Provide clear and concise presentations of key financial data to both internal and external stakeholders. What youll bring: Full or part qualification with a recognised accounting body, or equivalent by experience. Proved track record of relevant finance experience, ideally within an international context. Strong financial analysis, forecasting, and business acumen. Proficiency in SAP, Analysis for Office, or other BI tools. Knowledge of Salesforce CRM is an advantage. Pragmatic, results-driven, with an analytical and critical approach. Strong business intuition and service-oriented mindset, with the ability to challenge and drive performance. Proven ability to lead change initiatives and drive continuous improvement.
