Title: Finance Assistant Job Title: Finance Assistant Fixed Term Contract to 31st December 2025 Salary range: £24,500 to £26,500 per annum pro rata Location: Leatherhead or Manchester Working Pattern: We operate a flexible hybrid working pattern at Frazer-Nash, with time split between the office for 1 to 2 days per week and working from home. Closing date is 12th March but we would encourage early applications A Finance Assistant plays an important role in delivering overall financial support to the wider Finance function and business, with a particular focus on supporting the beginning of our finance processes for customers, suppliers, projects and supporting data accuracy. Expected to work with minimal supervision; being able to plan, organise and manage their own workload. Duties include: Responsible for raising sales invoices in ProjOps/FinOps. Responsible for contacting staff to resolve any invoicing queries. Responsible for dealing with expense queries in FinOps. Responsible for WIP and Milestone reports on an ad hoc basis. Responsible for engaging with staff to ensure WIP and Milestone data is invoiced in a timely manner. Responsible for ensuring accurate project set up, focussed on but not limited to; correct selling price, linked to contract, associated with a billing customer, properly set up sales price list. Responsible for setting up new billing customers. Responsible for ensuring our order pipeline is an accurate reflection of where we are as a business. Support project and contract closure activities. Responds and manages general enquiries from staff, suppliers and customers as required. Suggest areas of system improvement and implementation as required. Supports other Finance ad hoc assignments and projects as required. We are looking for a candidate who has: Proven ability to provide accurate results in a timely manner with a strong attention to detail. Good communication skills, both verbally and in writing. Excellent PC skills in particular intermediate Excel skills. Good interpersonal and influencing skills. Positive and proactive attitude. It is to your advantage if you have: Experience raising sales invoices in ProjOps/FinOps. Experience dealing with expense queries in FinOps. Experience preparing WIP and Milestone reports. Experience responding to general enquiries from staff, suppliers and customers.
