The Role You'll become part of a friendly, dedicated, fun team who supports four adults with learning and physical disabilities to live in their own shared home. The great thing about this job is no two days are ever the same. Your main aim will be supporting each individual with their day to day needs, including personal care, shopping, finances, cooking, housework and medication. As all of the individuals love to get out and be part of their local community, you ll also find yourself getting involved in activities like the cinema, musicals, gardening, cars and going for walks to name a few. About You You don't need experience to start your career with us; we recruit on values and will provide full training. We'll pay you for your training and even fund your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) qualification and yearly SSSC registration fees too All we ll need you to bring is: - A caring and compassionate attitude The ability to work well in a team Good communication and organisational skills A positive attitude with a willingness to learn A creative drive to improve the lives of the individuals you support Confidence in the use of computers An excellent grasp or written and spoken English Shift Patterns As we're dedicated to providing the best support, tailored to the needs of each individual shift patterns will include early mornings (from 0700 hours), days and evenings. Sleepovers, weekends and public holidays would also form part of your rota on a rotational basis. The sleepover part of your shift is not included in your contracted hours, so you will receive an additional payment of 96 for every sleepover shift that you work. Sound interesting?
