Job Purpose
We are looking for an enthusiastic, guest focused supervisor. You will lead, inspire and forge an environment where we “Create Unforgettable Experiences One Guest at a Time”. Ensuring the safety of our team members and guests as well as operational excellence are important elements of the role.
Duties and Responsibilities
You will thrive in a multi-function, fast-paced, high footfall environment where being hands on is an essential part of your role
Working across all areas of the business to include bar and games
Managing shifts to ensure all operational directives are met
Maintain high standards of food hygiene in line with company procedures
Assist with stock management procedures as set out by the business. This will include performing ongoing stock checks and assisting with weekly/monthly stock takes
Manage stock levels through ordering and monitoring whilst reducing wastage
You will lead the way when it comes to ‘Getting stuck in’ and showing your team what a leader you are
You will take responsibility for the site in the absence of a senior manager
You will enjoy coaching and mentoring your team
Guest experience is at the heart of what we do so the ability to be face to face with your guests when you’re needed most is essential
The Health & Safety of our teams and guests is our highest priority and as such this will always be at the top of your agenda when leading the team in day-to-day site operations
To assist in ensuring that the site maintains appropriate accident, incident, and associated contingency management arrangements, including test drills and staff training
To assist with the cleaning and maintenance of the site
You will need to be a great communicator to your team and your guests ensuring all enquiries and feedback are dealt with promptly & professionally
You will be adaptable with a real can-do attitude
You will help to maintain an exciting and energetic workplace for your team and a safe, fun-filled, exciting venue for our guests
As with many roles, you will be required from time to time to work above and beyond your contracted hours owing to the demand of the business, its guests and team members
Qualifications/Skills
Previous experience at supervisory level within a hospitality venue is highly desirable
A background in bars or pubs
Strong leadership skills
Fantastic communication skills
Ability to thrive in a busy fast-paced environment
3-day first-aid certificate desirable but not essential
Working Conditions
This position will be working evenings and weekends (you must have full weekend availability).
£12.00 per hour
