Senior Recruitment Consultant | Helping Companies Scale with Top Talent in Industrial Engineering, Robotics, Automation, Software & AI
The sales employee’s primary responsibility will be to find, create, and acquire projects from a predetermined portfolio of high-value, verified clients who stand to gain from integration services and technology. You will also need to cultivate leads that come from our focused digital marketing strategy.
The sales employee will employ conveyor, sorting, and software solutions in addition to complementing third-party equipment to provide high-value (£15m+), automation-focused solutions to blue-chip organisations in industries including e-commerce, retail, and general merchandising, maintaining a pipeline of small-to-medium-sized projects (£0.5m–£15m) in the same industries, helping companies as they increase their micro fulfilment capabilities and take their initial steps towards automation.
Responsibilities:
* Locate and interact with SME and blue-chip clients in the retail, general merchandising, and e-commerce industries.
* Actively pursue prospects through networking, cold calling, and LinkedIn, making sure that the pipeline is balanced between the two streams.
* Visit client locations on a regular basis to establish rapport and learn about operating difficulties.
* Work together with the marketing team to develop and implement campaigns aimed at SME and high-value clients.
* Participate actively in digital marketing strategy by lending support to outreach campaigns, lead generation projects, and content creation.
* To network and find new prospects in both streams, go to industry gatherings and exhibits.
* Introduce and market software, conveyor, sorting, and storage technologies as well as those of complementary partners.
* Take the lead in conversations to identify operational problems and offer customised solutions that combine products with other technology to satisfy client needs.
* Work together with the solution design team to provide layouts, cost estimates, and ROI assessments that satisfy the demands of individual customers while making sure that operational, financial, and payback objectives are met.
* Create and deliver proposals that are well-supported by solution design and include commercial terms, implementation schedules, and project costs.
* When negotiating contracts, be sure you give value to consumers while maintaining profitability.
* Communicate with the engineering, software, and solution design teams to guarantee a smooth project handover and implementation.
* Give the head of sales frequent reports on pipeline progress and projections.
* Attend team meetings on a regular basis to discuss market insights, coordinate strategy, and enhance procedures.
* Keep up with the latest developments in the retail, e-commerce, and fulfilment automation industries.
* In order to improve go-to-market tactics, keep an eye on competition activities and provide the business development team feedback.
Requirements & Qualifications:
* Extensive years in business-to-business sales, ideally in the automation, fulfilment, or intralogistics sectors.
* Work experience in the UK sector.
* A track record of success in landing deals and hitting sales goals.
* Demonstrated capacity to oversee dual-focus pipelines and win contracts with both high-value and small business clients.
* Work experience in the UK market in the retail, e-commerce, or general merchandising industries.
* Knowledge of piece-picking machine learning solutions.
* Experience with technologies like AMR systems that are complimentary to main product line.
* An understanding of the solution design procedure. This includes data analysis, material flow, solution architecture, and more.
* Excellent ability to control project budgets and schedules, as well as strong negotiation abilities.
* The capacity to engage stakeholders at both technical and operational levels is demonstrated by exceptional interpersonal and presentation abilities.
* Confident in establishing and preserving enduring connections with clients.

* Collaborative team player having the ability to work well with cross-functional groups.
* Mastery of LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Microsoft Office, and CRM software.
