Due to our sustained and continued growth OCUServices are seeking a highly motivated and experienced ProjectManager specialising in Water to join our team working from our OldOak Common Aylesbury and Brackley sites.
You willbe responsible for overseeing the successful planning execution andcompletion of waterrelated engineering projects. Your role willinvolve coordinating with various stakeholders managing projectteams and ensuring that projects are delivered within scope budgetand schedule. You will play a key role in driving efficiencyquality and safety throughout the projectlifecycle.
Responsibilities:
* Collaboratewith clients and internal teams to define project objectives scopeand deliverables.
* Develop comprehensive projectplans including timelines budgets and resourceallocation.
* Conduct feasibility studies andrisk assessments to identify potential challenges and mitigationstrategies.
* Obtain necessary approvals andpermits from regulatory authorities.
* Build andlead project teams including engineers designers contractors andsupport staff.
* Assign tasks andresponsibilities to team members ensuring clear communication ofproject expectations.
* Foster a collaborativeand productive work environment to maximize teamperformance.
* Manage project budgets and ensurecost control throughout the projectlifecycle.
* Monitor expenses review financialreports and implement costsaving measures whenappropriate.
* Develop project schedules andcritical milestones ensuring adherence todeadlines.
* Monitor project progress identifydeviations and implement corrective actions asneeded.
* Regularly report project status tostakeholders providing updates on milestones risks andachievements.
* Identify potential risks anddevelop risk mitigation plans to minimize projectdisruptions.
* Proactively address emergingissues and unforeseen challenges during projectexecution.
* Ensure that projects comply withrelevant industry standards regulations and quality assuranceprotocols.
* Conduct regular inspections andaudits to maintain highqualitydeliverables.
* Promote a strong safety culturethroughout the project enforcing safety protocols andpractices.
* Ensure compliance with health safetyand environmental regulations.
* Maintain regularcommunication with clients to address their concerns and provideproject updates.
* Manage relationships withstakeholders including local authorities and communitymembers.
* Conduct project reviews to evaluateoutcomes and identify areas forimprovement.
* Prepare project documentationincluding final reports asbuilt drawings and lessonslearned.
Skills& Experience:
* Abachelors degree in civil engineering Environmental Engineering ora related field.
* Proven experience in projectmanagement preferably in waterrelatedprojects.
* Strong leadership and team managementskills.
* Excellent communication andinterpersonal abilities.
* Proficiency in projectmanagement software and tools.
* Knowledge ofwater industry standards regulations and best practices in theUK.
* Project Management Professional (PMP)certification is aplus.
