Turner Schools has an exciting opportunity for a Trust Facilities Area Manager to cover the Canterbury area. We are seeking someone who is highly motivated and has a flexible approach towards work and working hours. You will have high standards to lead and direct the work of the facilities and cleaning officers and support the Trust Head of Facilities in the effective and efficient management of all aspects of facilities and cleaning across the Canterbury hub. You must have an eye for detail and the ability to lead and motivate teams to ensure our schools are places where children thrive and knowledge matters.
The successful candidate will:
* Have experience of leading a multi-disciplined team
* Experience of working with, or willing to be trained in the use of Computer Assisted Facilities Management Software (CAFM)
* Hold a qualification in, or willing to be trained in one, or a multiple of the following skills:
* Electrical installation (to Edition 18), Plumbing, Painting & Decorating, Carpentry and Grounds Maintenance (including synthetic surfaces)
* Hold a Full UK driving licence or equivalent.
