Job summary A unique opportunity has arisen at Bedford Hospital to work within Private Patients Services. We are currently looking for talented, Private Patient Service Administrators to support our private patient service in the invoicing and collection of fees. We are looking for someone who is an enthusiastic, forward thinking, well organised, compassionate professional and commercially aware with a positive attitude and a 'patient first culture'. Main duties of the job You will have excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, a high level of numeracy and literacy and the ability to provide an accurate billing service. A good communicator, you will be happy working within a fast paced environment alongside a broad range of people, with different skills, and be able to demonstrate that you can act professionally at all times using your own initiative. The successful candidate will be proactive and professional in their approach to work; this should be demonstrable from their past working roles. Knowledge of the NHS, Bedford Hospital Trust systems and billing experience would be preferable.
