Guest Experience Manager, Marbella OR Malaga based - I am working with a high end, specialist agent to find them a Guest Experience Manager to join the team in Spain to ensure their guests enjoy a smooth and pleasant stay in one of their handpicked private villas or haciendas.
This is an amazing opportunity for an experienced candidate with proven knowledge of Spain to deliver impeccable customer service and create bespoke experiences for their clients. Salary DOE but circa 30,000 Euros.
Responsibilities
* Manage all aspects of resort operation, ensure guest arrangements are in place and villas presented to agreed standards.
* Plan complex client itineraries and make Experience bookings pre-arrival.
* Personally deal with Platinum bookings for UHNW clients.
* Assist with sourcing and onboarding new Experiences, working closely with the marketing team to promote them.
* Ensure the client's holiday lives up to their expectations.
* Deal with any issues efficiently whilst always ensuring that guests feel reassured and listened-to.
* Stay calm in a crisis and solve any problems quickly and efficiently.
* Conduct ad-hoc visits to villas to check brochure accuracy, service levels, general maintenance, and cleanliness.
* Be on hand throughout a client's stay to offer assistance.
* Use local knowledge to assist clients in making reservations for restaurants and beach clubs.
* Organise pre-arrival arrangements for clients in liaison with local concierge suppliers and villas.
Skills Required
* Self-motivated, highly organised, and able to manage own time efficiently.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Own car essential, mileage paid.
* Great communicator with strong written and spoken English.
* Experience working with HNW clients while offering total discretion.
* Problem solver.
* Experienced CRM and Gmail user, competent with Microsoft Word and Excel.
* Spanish language skills are a bonus.
* Using social media to keep informed about local activities.
* Experience in travel and hospitality, or strong customer service background handling complaints.
The Small Print and the Fun stuff:
* As you will be based in Spain you will need to be registered self-employed in Spain.
* 28 days annual leave, company lifestyle package, and an annual bonus scheme.
* Clean driving license and own vehicle required.
* Travel around Spain will be required up to 7 days at a time, with expenses covered.
* Pay will be 30,000 Euros per year plus benefits.
