Our goal is to ensure accessibility across mainstream platforms (within communities) and eliminate barriers whenever possible We're looking for a dynamic Preparation for Adulthood/Post 16 - SEND Team Manager to join us, supporting the smooth completion of statutory duties. Here’s your chance to be part of a supportive team dedicated to providing high quality support and services to children, young people and families. As the Preparation for Adulthood/Post 16 – Send Team Manager, you'll provide strong leadership to team members within the Statutory SEND team to support the efficient and effective undertaking of statutory duties. Your role will have a specific focus on supporting learners with SEND and their preparation for adulthood (PfA). You will work closely with colleagues in children’s social care and adults services to support the smooth transition of young people into these services where appropriate. You will also be responsible for the on-going development of Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs) for learners aged 14 and over in Wiltshire to ensure that they are person centred, compliant and reflective of the principles of PfA. We’re looking for a manager with deep knowledge of current and evolving national SEND policies in children's services and a recognised qualification in early years, social care, health, or education at level 4 minimum. You should have prior experience in health, social care, or education, including team management and performance monitoring. Experience in partnering with children, young people, and families, particularly those with complex needs, is essential. Why us?
