Title: Finance Assistant

Salary: £30,000 - £30,500

Our client is looking to appoint an experienced Finance Assistant, initially on a temporary basis until 31st March 2025. This is a full time role, 35 hours Monday Friday and will be office based in Invergordon.
Duties include:
* Match invoices received to works/purchase orders.
* Code invoices, liaising with the requisitioning and goods receipting departments as necessary.
* Ensure invoices are sent for authorisation in accordance with the approval and authority limits.
* Process approved invoices into the finance software accurately and timeously.
* Support internal and external customers as appropriate to resolve purchase ledger queries.
* Be vigilant to potentially fraudulent activities at all times.
* Report any inconsistencies to the Accounts Payable Advisor.
