We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and consolidation, along with a proven track record in financial management. Reporting directly to the Head of Group Finance, the Finance Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and effectiveness of our client’s financial operations.
Responsibilities of the Finance Manager will include:
1. Lead, manage and develop the finance function, overseeing day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives.
2. Prepare management accounts in accordance with agreed policies and procedures including commentary and analysis against budget.
3. Review financial reports and analysis to support decision-making and drive business performance.
4. Oversee the annual budget process for, including budget preparation and periodic forecasts.
5. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors and regulatory bodies, to address inquiries and ensure regulatory compliance.
6. Manage the consolidation process in accordance with IFRS guidelines, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
7. Produce periodic cash flow analysis including anticipated future funding requirements.
8. Ensure the integrity of the financial numbers including preparation and review of control account reconciliations for all balance sheet accounts.
9. Support the Transaction Services Manager in ensuring the maintenance of strong, efficient payroll and accounts payable processes for the Group.
The successful Finance Manager will require:
10. Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with 2-5 years PQE.
11. Extensive experience in financial management.
12. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organisation.
13. Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office suite, with advanced Excel skills.
