Control & Automation Engineer – North Yorkshire – Days – £45-55k Bonus Samuel Frank is recruiting for an experienced Control & Automation Engineer to join a forward-thinking manufacturer based in North Yorkshire. Key Responsibilities of the Control & Automation Engineer: As a Control & Automation Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all electrical and electronic control systems, including HMI and SCADA systems, are supported, maintained, developed, and improved as required. The successful Control & Automation Engineer will have strong electrical fault-finding skills and be capable of responding to machinery breakdowns efficiently. Competent programming skills in PLCs, SCADA, HMI systems, and variable frequency drives are essential. The Control & Automation Engineer will be experienced in working with various network protocols such as Ethernet, Profinet, and Profibus. Experience in Machinery Safety, including CE Marking, Machinery Directive, and British Standards, is required. Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, CAD, and MS Project, are essential. The ideal Control & Automation Engineer will hold a minimum HND qualification in Electrical/Electronic Engineering. Why Join This Company?
