Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Plan, coordinate, and manage the activities of the security operations team
2. Develop and deploy security operations policies and procedures
3. Identify, investigate, and respond to security incidents
4. Assist in the development and implementation of security systems and controls
5. Monitor security systems and networks for suspicious activities
6. Develop and lead incident response plans
7. Provide technical guidance and consultation to team members

Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Security or related field
* Ideally 2 years of experience in security operations and management in corporate security, HM Forces or Police.
* Clearance to BS7858 to be able to obtain
* SIA Licence – Security Guard (SG)
* SIA Licence – Door Supervisor (DS) (if applicable to scope)
* SIA Licence – CCTV (if applicable to scope)
* First aid qualification
* Expertise in security engineering, cryptography, authentication, and system security
* Knowledge of security tools, techniques, and countermeasures
* Experience with security architectures and network protocols
* Excellent problem-solving skills
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Personal Traits:
* Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Knowledge of IT security best practices
