We are thrilled to present an exciting opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our client’s team, based in Dartford. This role offers a fantastic chance to be a key part of a dynamic team, overseeing day-to-day warehouse operations and ensuring efficient and effective management of all logistics processes.
Working hours – 13:00 – 22:00hrs (Normally Sunday to Thursday)
Duties:
* Direct, coordinate and monitor the daily activities & performance of warehouse workers to assure compliance of standard procedure, quality and safety.
* Assure quality performance through proper staffing, effective communication and training.
* Ownership of agency labour requirement and resource forecasting.
* Continuously review warehouse procedures and recommend and/or modify operational structure to create a more efficient and productive operation.
* Monitor departmental expenses and will be required to submit your labour cost on a weekly basis and be able to explain variations from target.
* Enforce all policy and procedures, including safety and housekeeping, in an effective and appropriate manner.
