The opportunity
We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic Senior Operational Excellence Consultant. Within the consulting business in the UK, the Operational Excellence Team delivers on all aspects of our client’s digital transformation journeys.
As a member of DTC, you will operate within a fast-paced consulting environment, comprised of more than 850 diverse and high-performing experts worldwide. Our teams work on challenging digital projects that deliver creative and innovative solutions across multiple industries and sectors.

The Consulting practice offers a range of effective transformation and innovative solutions which support clients on their Digital Transformation journey. The practice combines its depth of knowledge in business and technology areas to deliver industry-specific solutions.
Who we are looking for
As part of our growth strategy in the UK, we are looking to increase the capability and capacity of our Operational Excellence Team. We seek senior candidates who have a hardworking management consultancy background, working on complex business problems, ideally within a technology context, and have the desire to be part of an organisation that develops and delivers innovative solutions to private- and public-sector clients.
Our consultants are at the heart of driving the Operational Excellence solutions forward and are key to delivering innovative engagements. You'll have the opportunity to become a Subject Matter Expert, enhancing both your own skills and reputation, as well as that of Eviden. Success in this role requires the ability to forge strong relationships with partners and clients while ensuring consistent, high-quality delivery across all engagements.
Note: This role normally requires travel to varying work locations predominantly in, but not confined to, the UK, on an as-required basis. Successful candidates must therefore be prepared to stay away from home as necessary, according to need. At present, travel will take place only as permitted and appropriate.
Note: The candidate should also hold or be capable of obtaining Security Clearance to work with UK public sector organisations.
Responsibilities:
* Lead workstreams focused on business analysis and process improvement.
* Advise clients on strategies for improving business operations, including cost reduction and automation.
* Manage small teams to ensure successful delivery of consulting projects.
* Manage stakeholder relationships.
* Contribute to the sales process by supporting the sale of new work and securing contract extensions.
* Experience using project management methodologies and tools to manage and deliver projects efficiently.
* Implement standard Operational Excellence methodologies and practices to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
* Strong leading consultancy background including on business analysis and process improvement engagements, ideally with at least 3 years’ experience.
* Demonstrated experience in advising clients on how to improve business operations, including cost reduction and automation.
* Experience in developing and mentoring small teams to successfully deliver consulting engagements.
* Proven experience in stakeholder management, ideally in difficult or complex environments.
* Experience in contributing to the sale of work or contract extensions.
* Training in / experience of project management methodologies and tools.
* Knowledge of standard Operational Excellence methodologies and practices.
* Strong experience of the application of Lean principles and thinking.
* Certifications in Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher, and/or Business Analysis.
* Process mining experience.
* Experience leading workstreams within digital transformation projects.
* Familiarity with platforms such as Pega, ServiceNow, Salesforce, and SAP.
