Job description

The company designs, manufactures, and installs components, fuel and instrumentation and control systems for nuclear power plants and offers a full range of reactor services.

In the UK we are currently over 300 strong and our plans are to grow to 400-500 by 2025 through the development of our UK nuclear service offerings.
Due to our ongoing growth, we are looking to expand our Finance Team by recruiting a Group Reporting Accountant.
Under the guidance of our Head of Finance and Finance Controller, the Group Reporting Accountant will be responsible for monthly consolidations with group through our central software (Magnitude).
Key responsibilities will include:
* Liaise with and provide reports to Framatome Group and EDF
* Preparation and submission of budgets and other financial campaigns through the central software
* Involvement and assistance in preparing evidence and deliverables for financial audit
* Liaise with auditors
* Preparation of UK VAT returns & CIS returns
* Cash flow management and forecast (Corp)
* Responsibility for submission of monthly reports to group (through Magnitude)
* Ensure compliance with IFRS and keep up to date with changes to standards
* Reports on project performance and suggestions for improvements
* Work with FC on new projects to improve efficiencies within finance department
* Work with French opex team to improve reporting/processes
* Deliver in month reports to HoF and FC
* Improve and draft processes for UK financial controlling department
Profile
To be considered, we require the following qualifications and experience:
* ACA qualified or equivalent
* Experience of working in a similar role, ideally within an industrial/engineering environment
