Job Opportunity: Town Planning Consultant

About the Role:
We're assisting a growing planning and architecture firm in Stamford in their search for talented Planners and Senior Planners to join their team. With a diverse portfolio that spans residential, commercial, land promotion, conversions, and rural projects, our client is looking to expand their planning team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Work on a wide range of projects, predominantly in residential planning but also across commercial, land promotion, conversions, and rural developments.
2. Manage and progress planning applications from inception to completion.
3. Collaborate with the architecture team to ensure smooth project delivery and planning compliance.
4. Provide expert advice to clients on planning regulations and policy.
5. For Senior Planners, take on a leadership role in the team and oversee more complex projects.
Skills & Experience Required:
1. Planner: Ideally, you'll have experience in residential or commercial planning projects and a solid understanding of UK planning regulations.
2. Senior Planner: A proven background in planning, with experience managing complex projects, providing strategic guidance, and building client relationships.
3. Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and within a team.
4. Ability to build lasting client relationships and drive the success of projects.
Location & Working Arrangement:
This role is based in Stamford with a hybrid working model. Ideally, candidates will work three days a week in the office, but flexibility is available for the right candidate.
Salary:
1. Planner: £30,000 - £40,000
2. Senior Planner: £40,000 - £60,000
Additional Incentives:
While there is no formal bonus scheme, the firm offers a commission structure for planners who bring in new business and manage projects through to completion, receiving a percentage of the revenue from these projects.
