UK Trading Support Supervisor
The UK Trading Support Supervisor will manage the London Trade Support team which provides 1st/2nd level support to all Front Office, real-time trading and market data systems. Partners with our Global Trading Support teams and other departments to assist in daily functions. Involved in projects that can span within the Trading Support team or companywide as needed.
Responsibilities:
1. Supervise the team in offering 1st/2nd level support for all Trading Platforms offered by Marex to both internal and external client base.
2. Provide first and second line support for all global trading platforms to both Marex’s internal and external client base.
3. Handle user and account administration to include limits adjustments upon Risk team approval.
4. Help with system outage management for client trades.
5. Liaise between technology department and other business groups to communicate changes.
6. Assist with ongoing review of manual processes, including reporting to identify improvements and automation opportunities.
7. Adhere to the operational risk framework for your role ensuring that all regulatory or company determined parameters are complied with.
8. Role model for demonstrating highest level standards of integrity and conduct and reflecting Company Values.
9. At all times complying with Marex’s Code of Conduct.
10. To ensure that you are fully aware of and adhere to internal policies that relate to you, your role or any other activities for which you have any level of responsibility.
11. To report any breaches of policy to Compliance and/or your supervisor as required.
12. To escalate risk events immediately.
13. To provide input to risk management processes, as required.
Competencies, Skills and Experience:
1. Significant experience in a management role.
2. Demonstrable experience working with front end systems and admin tools including Fidessa, TT, Stellar, CQG, CME Direct and various other ISVs.
3. Experience working with Global exchanges.
