Contract Details: Permanent, whole time (52 weeks) plus generous holiday entitlement and pension scheme. 37 hours per week (split shifts)

The Vision1590 Trust and the Head Teacher are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, flexible and committed Site Supervisor to join our friendly and hard-working team. We are therefore seeking a dynamic person whose duties will include the management and maintenance of premises, supervision of cleaning staff and opening and closing of school each day.
We are seeking to appoint an experienced Site Supervisor who is:
1. A self-starter with enthusiasm for maintaining our school environment to a high standard to support children’s learning
2. An ability to work on their own initiative and recognise jobs that need attention and prioritise their daily workload
3. A good level of DIY skills and takes pride in their work
4. A firm understanding of, and compliance with, safeguarding requirements
5. An ability to work effectively as part of a team that looks after the safety and welfare of the site
6. An ability to conduct site inspections in respect of appearance, maintenance and Health and Safety with a COSHH awareness
7. An ability to organise systems of recording
8. Physical fitness to undertake some heavy lifting, moving and handling including general portage
9. An understanding of the responsibility around the security of the site
10. A willingness to participate in training and development
11. Be part of the friendly school team
This position is a shift-based role and candidates must be prepared to be flexible and willing to alternate shifts when required to do so.
Although the post is based at Bader Primary School, you may at times be called upon to go to any of the other schools within the Trust and it is essential you have your own transport and business insurance.
