We are seeking a highly motivated Professional and Data Lead to work within Just One Number (JON), the Single point of Access for Norfolk and Waveney Children and Young Peoples health services.

Job responsibilities
1. In conjunction with the Just One Number (JON) and Healthy Child Service (HCS) Clinical Leads develop and maintain pathways, procedures and protocols regarding care coordination within JON and the clinical and non-clinical triage of calls, video calls, referrals, emails, texts and other ways service users access the service.
2. To offer leadership for future innovation and growth of JON in conjunction with the digital service offer, Healthy Child Service, speech and language therapy service and mental health advice, support & access service in addition to future services/expansion.
3. Participating in trust wide projects and workstreams.
4. To provide clinical leadership and professional support including sharing of expert knowledge to staff and team members to improve clinical outcomes for CYP Families across Norfolk and Waveney.
5. To work with the HCS Clinical Lead and deputies to lead and embed HCS clinical pathways within JON.
6. To work alongside the JON Clinical Lead to ensure quality standards are maintained, deputising where required in data lead in meeting.
7. To work with the HCS clinical team and professional lead team to deliver clinical programmes such as the flu vaccination role out and promote public health messaging in the service.
8. To support with the planning and provide preceptorship to all new team members and newly qualified practitioners to ensure they are clinically competent in conjunction with the professional leadership team.
9. To ensure JON remains a positive learning environment for pre and post registration students.
10. Identify and address performance management issues in relation to practice and escalate issues to the appropriate line manager as part of the HCS professional review process.
11. To work with HCS system 1 lead and clinical systems to review & develop templates for SystmOne to ensure robust data collection and translation of this.
12. To ensure robust data reporting for all services within JON.
13. To work with and review multiple clinical systems and feedback to the leads for the services within JON, eg POWER BI and ERS.
14. To actively participate and support the development and delivery of training as part of the professional lead team.
15. To assist the JON and HCS Clinical Leads in the audit programme and evaluate service delivery in order to assess the quality of care delivered within JON.
16. Ensure appropriate action is taken when clinical risks are identified by self or a team member and that the escalation process is followed appropriately, this will include review of Datix and follow up on any actions identified.
17. To attend all leadership meetings and cascade information to teams.
18. To participate in service development, new initiatives informed by national and local priorities.
Person Specification
Qualifications Essential
* First level Registered Nurse/Midwife
* Specialist Community Public Health Nurse
* Degree level study
* Evidence of ongoing professional development relevant to the role
* Practice Assessor qualification
Desirable
* Post Graduate cert./dip/degree in a related subject
* Recognised teaching qualification
* Leadership/Management qualification
* Completion of additional field of practice (migration)
Experience Essential
* Experience of providing clinical supervision and mentoring
* Ability to work with Children and Young People and their families to provide holistic, evidence-based care
* Extensive Community Public Health experience
* Responds positively to change.
Desirable
* Experience of managing clinical audit
* Leadership and management of staff
* Experience of writing and contributing to policies and procedures
Skills Essential
* Competent in digital literacy
* Supervision skills both individual and group facilitation skills
* Acts as a clinical role model, mentor and supervisor for learners and qualified staff
