Job Overview
This is a great opportunity to work as a personal assistant and administrative support to our Associate Director of Psychological Professions, AFC Band 4, part-time. The post is primarily working from home, with some on-site meetings in services around Hull and East Yorkshire as required. You will mainly work with the Associate Director (AD) and a small and friendly group of Lead Psychological Professionals.
The successful applicant will be personable, organised, a good communicator, and skilled in using various IT systems and packages. There will be a requirement to lead on the organisation of some events, such as conferences.
Main Duties of the Job
The main duties of the post are to support the AD with diary management and planning, administration and minuting of meetings, organising events, maintaining up-to-date staffing contact lists, production of quality materials such as diagrams, reports, spreadsheets, and to gather and maintain monitoring information. You will be skilled in coordinating diaries, liaising with senior executives and communicating with large groups of people in order to arrange meetings and functions. There may be the occasional requirement to access clinical settings for the purpose of attending meetings.

Person Specification
Qualifications & Knowledge
* Higher National Certificate/Foundation degree/diploma/NVQ4 in Business Administration/Customer Services or equivalent experience in a wide range of secretarial/administrative/PA roles and leading specific projects/information systems.
* RSA III or equivalent advanced keyboard skills.
* A good understanding of relevant policy, legislation drivers and their application to the relevant service area.
* Degree in Administration/Business.
Experience
* Experience of using a range of Microsoft software packages.
* Experience of taking minutes at meetings.
* Ability to communicate effectively with staff, patients, carers and other agencies.
* Proven experience of building effective working relationships.
Skills and Competencies
* Evidence of effective interpersonal communication skills.
* Able to plan and prioritise own time and meet tight deadlines.
* Ability to demonstrate ethical values and attitudes within a culture of equality and diversity.
