Our Senior Partnerships Manager role is a new position created as part of our commitment to investing in and strengthening our strategic partnerships. Core responsibilities are leading the strategic development of partnerships, securing StepChanges position as the Debt Advice provider of choice in key sectors and organisations. In this role, you will deliver partner lifetime value by securing referrals, funding, and innovation opportunities, all while supporting the Partnerships Director in developing strategic account management plans and articulating our B2B strategy to achieve our 3-year commercial growth plan.
Your Role
As a Senior Partnerships Manager, you will establish strong and open relationships with key contacts at partner organisations, understanding their challenges and ideating solutions to feed into the Head of Innovation. You will own the creditor touchpoints across the charity, driving awareness at the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) level to enable continuous improvements and efficiencies for partners. By maintaining a strong network across the Collections sector, you will seek out new opportunities and propositions that benefit StepChange in terms of referrals and brand awareness. Additionally, you will manage risks to referrals due to competitor activity, charity performance issues, and partner collection strategies.
You will also support driving external awareness of our partnership approach, products, and collaborative ethos through regular engagement at events, on LinkedIn, and through speaking opportunities. Your responsibilities will include leading strategic engagement sessions with partners, driving the partner touchpoint journey, analysing emerging trends and regulatory changes, and researching competitor services. You will utilise the MI dashboard to drive insights and recommendations, engage externally to build knowledge, and develop compelling communications with the marketing team. Furthermore, you will work closely with the Senior Product Manager to align client product developments with partner needs and share insights with the Business Development Director and Head of Commercial and Innovation.
Occasional travel will be required to partner office sites.
