Senior Project Manager needed for our Financial Services client in Glasgow, though the role is predominantly remote. Candidates must have demonstrable experience successfully delivering technical projects including system migrations within Financial Services environments. Candidates must engage via an FCSA umbrella company with a top end rate of £589 per day. The role will be for an initial 4-months. Whilst the role is expected to be UK based and predominantly remote, there will be a need for very occasional travel to Glasgow for workshops. In addition to being a Senior Project Manager, you should have experience in Robotics technologies, ideally Blue Prism or Microsoft Power Automate Desktop (PAD), along with strong stakeholder management, 3rd party management and project planning skills. Experience or an understanding of regulatory projects withing Financial Services / Banking environments and experience working on large-scale migration projects and programmes would be an advantage. Key Experience Required: Demonstrable IT Project Management Expertise Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage cross-functional teams. Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall). Proven experience leading technology transformation or migration programs. Strong communication, strategic thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills. Demonstrable experience in identifying and managing project risks and experience in budget management & financial planning. A Customer-Centric approach, delivering exceptional customer experiences through innovative technology solutions. Experience in leading change management initiatives within a technology context. Experience in stakeholder management and managing third-party vendors and technology partners. Experience and/or exposure to large scale migration programs. Ideally you will have exposure to Robotics technology ( Blue Prism, Microsoft PAD) An understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the financial services sector.
