Supporting the partners the role encompasses the provision of financial due diligence to major privately owned and private equity backed businesses. This covers the whole range of corporate finance transactions from MBO’s to mergers, acquisitions and disposals. You will be part of the leadership team with responsibility for managing, coaching and developing the team, leading transactions and contributing to revenue generation for the Leeds office. A qualified accountant is required, most likely ACA, CA or ACCA (ICAEW or ICAS) with extensive client facing due diligence experience. A sound commercial understanding beyond the financials is required and a demonstrable track record of board level interaction and influence is essential. Those wishing to progress beyond director to partner will need to demonstrate the ability to win new clients and deal pitches.
The role would certainly suit someone from a Big 4 or Top 10 firm but those outside of the Top 10, perhaps with a quality mid-market boutique advisory practice would be very much encouraged to apply.
