What you'll be doing:
The Operational Supplier Management lead will lead the operational execution of supplier management processes within the COO area, to optimise supplier performance, drive cost efficiencies, maximising contract value and ensure the highest quality standards are delivered.
The Operational Supplier Management Lead will be responsible for establishing and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with contractual terms.
* Develop and execute the supplier management strategy to enhance supplier relationships and performance, aligning with overall business objectives.
* Act as the primary point of contact for supplier communications and issue resolution.
* Review and evolve the COO supplier stakeholder monitoring framework ensuring ongoing reviews and due diligence checks are made
* Establish and monitor supplier performance against the outlined standards, including SLAs and KPI’s. Forming a holistic view of the Vendors performance ensuring compliance with contracts and quality standards.
* Work closely with procurement, product development, and quality teams to select suppliers that meet the company’s requirements and to foster a collaborative working environment
What we’re looking for:
* Expertise in building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers to foster collaboration and trust. / Holds a proven track record of successfully nurturing vendor / supplier relationships.
* Extensive track record of supplier selection, onboarding and offboarding.
* Proficient in negotiating contracts and terms to achieve favourable outcomes while maintaining supplier partnerships.
* Ability to understand and apply contracted arrangements.
* Ability to analyse supplier performance data, market trends, and operational metrics to inform decision-making.
