Job Title: Sales Administrator – Maternity Cover (6-12 Months) Reporting to: National Account Controller with dotted line to Senior National Account Manager Location: This position Includes an opportunity to work from home however, you must be able to work from our Theale office (RG7 5AW) at least two days a week. As a Sales Administrator, you will be responsible for supporting the National Accounts sales team to deliver the company sales and profit targets. This is an important role acting as the conduit between customers and the sales team/internal departments, with the aim being our customers receive a market leading service from Cotswold Fayre. You will play a pivotal role in the day-to-day administration of key customer accounts. You will have demonstrable experience of managing multiple tasks and meeting tight deadlines with a positive approach, whilst maintaining attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. Key responsibilities (but not limited to): Be the day-to-day contact for customers for administration support. Organise all pricing information for the National Account Manager and customers as and when required. Review sales performance of products and provide sales forecasts to internal departments. Communicate and load (where required) promotions on customer portals. Organise samples and marketing support materials for customers, liaising with suppliers to ensure promptly sent. Produce internal reports on a regular basis to Commercial and Finance to track and invoice suppliers for any (promotional) claims. General day to day running of administration of national accounts. Work in tandem with the Customer Service Team, to identify ways in which we can improve our overall service to customers via development of sales tools and through general account management. Ensure all relevant internal/external administrative and reporting requirements are fulfilled in a prompt, accurate manner for both day-to-day work & in response to ad-hoc requests. About You: The successful candidate will have a passion for food and drink, ideally be familiar with the speciality food and drink sector, however candidates from other sectors will absolutely be considered. You are determined to achieve success and will understand the benefit of relationship building, customer service and sales development. Career History & Experience: Experience in sales and/or administration is more important than academic qualifications for this role. Minimum of 3 years’ experience preferably in sales and/or administration role. IT competency with experience of Microsoft Teams, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook is essential as is a high standard of numeracy and literacy. Particularly interested if you are fully conversant in Excel, including VlookUp and pivot tables Desirable Personal Qualities and Attributes: Highly motivated, self-starter and well organised Rapport building will be second nature, and relationships will be personally important within your working life. Excellent oral and written communication skills Able to work on own but also a desire to share learnings & success with others in the team. Resilient, tenacious, and determined to succeed.
