Contracts Manager Job Description
Reporting into a Regional Manager, the position will involve but is not limited to:
1. Working closely with our clients around Kings Lynn in Norfolk and visiting our Office in Dagenham as required to ensure their complete satisfaction
2. Carrying out recorded Site Inspections and ensuring resident satisfaction
3. Occasional early evening or weekend meetings with clients & residents
4. Carrying out safety audits on sites, machinery, equipment etc.
5. Liaising with and overseeing any sub-contractors
6. Ensuring Health & Safety requirements are met
7. Ensuring internal and client KPI’s are met and exceeded
8. Providing excellent customer service
9. Working closely with our clients to offer training and work opportunities for their residents
10. Liaising with the development departments within our client’s organisation to provide input into design and assisting with the timely delivery of grounds maintenance services
11. Assisting our clients in gathering feedback from residents
12. Attending Client Performance Meetings and meeting clients & residents on-site
13. Dealing with compliments, complaints and performance improvement
14. Providing monthly reports to senior management as required, and ensuring weekly planners are completed
15. Managing budgets, staff and resources
16. Interviewing and recruiting new staff
17. Carrying out 4 and 8-weekly reviews, probationary appraisals and training with all new staff members as required and ensuring that HR receives all related documentation
18. Training & inducting new staff on their routes – i.e., ensuring someone works with them at each site in their first week
19. Completing new staff paperwork accurately and correctly
20. Reporting any absences (daily) or changes of staffing to the HR & other relevant teams
21. Checking timesheets and submitting timesheet/pay information in a timely manner and observing monthly deadlines.
22. Working closely with the HR team on all personnel issues including, recruitment, performance management, any variations to contracts, development and disciplinary procedures etc.
23. Fully confident in using Timegate; train team operatives in the use of Timegate; help resolve issues that occur within the team
24. Manage stock orders, equipment orders, van checks, issuing of timesheets and schedules, record any issues raised by staff members and carry out 1-2-1s with your team on team days
25. Managing operatives and staff to ensure their duties are carried out professionally and in-line with company procedures
26. Attending monthly training & development days as required with the Regional Manager
27. Any other work as deemed necessary by the company and/or senior management
