My client, a Market Leading Manufacturing company, has an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled General Manager to join their team.
Role Description
Reporting directly to the Components Production Director, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running and efficient manufacturing, assembly, stocking, and quality of all component parts associated with the company's portfolio of products.
You will have direct management of staff across all functions within production (Injection Moulding, mould tooling process).
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Overseeing and creating scheduled plans for the efficient running of all departments within the Components Division.
2. Ensuring production targets and objectives are achieved.
3. Utilising our internal stocking system for production planning/scheduling throughout all departments.
Skills and Qualifications
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Understanding of the Injection moulding process and mould tooling.
- Excellent negotiation skills.
- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing.
