In this key role, you’ll support the Employer Engagement Apprenticeship recruitment team by driving successful apprentice placements for a range of employers. You’ll engage with employers to promote vacancies and attract the right candidates using innovative methods. Your duties will include shortlisting candidates, conducting interviews, and offering guidance to ensure the best fit for both parties. You’ll maintain up-to-date knowledge of apprenticeship standards while providing excellent customer service. Additionally, you’ll work with the Adult Careers and Apprenticeship Placement Lead on Skills Bootcamp delivery, assisting with recruitment, documentation, and compliance. You’ll also offer career support, such as CV writing and interview coaching, to help candidates succeed. Your efforts will ensure the smooth delivery of apprenticeship programs and Skills Bootcamps, creating valuable opportunities for learners and employers. What we're looking for:
1. An understanding of recruitment processes and employers’ legal requirements in relation to recruitment and retaining staff.
2. Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
3. Excellent interpersonal skills.
4. A strong awareness of the importance of first-class internal and external customer care.
5. Grade 4 qualification in English and Maths, or equivalent.
6. A highly collaborative team player.
7. Full driving licence and access to car.
