As a Temp to Perm role, successful candidates can progress to permanent employment with the company, subject to satisfactory performance. Responsibilities: Manage and supervise a team of operatives to ensure day-to-day repairs are completed efficiently and to a high standard. Conduct daily site visits to monitor team performance, identify areas for improvement, and provide guidance and support. Coordinate and allocate tasks to team members to meet operational requirements and deadlines. Collaborate with other departments, such as Maintenance Management, to ensure repairs are completed in a timely and cost-effective manner. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and local authorities. Implement and enforce company policies, procedures, and health and safety protocols. Monitor and manage van and tool usage to ensure effective fleet management and maintenance. Participate in performance monitoring and evaluation, identifying areas for improvement and contributing to company-wide initiatives. Requirements: 2 years' experience in a supervisory or management role in a similar sector, preferably in social housing or facilities maintenance. Proven track record of managing teams to achieve high standards of performance and quality. Strong understanding of day-to-day repairs, including plumbing, carpentry, and basic electrical works. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Valid driving license and ability to drive a company van for work purposes. Knowledge of health and safety protocols, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
