Pathfinder are looking for an Allocator to support our RORO operations by helping ensure teams are staffed with skilled and trained personnel. While no formal experience is required, any background in customer service or a people- focused environment would be beneficial. The ideal candidate will have exceptional analytical and problem solving skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and a positive, proactive attitude. You’ll gain hands-on experience in a dynamic setting, learning to handle various tasks and deadlines effectively. Working Hours: 0900-15:00 Hrs Monday-Friday. Opportunity for additional hours to cover holidays/weekends. This role is being on an on-going agency basis Responsibilities Include but not limited to: Efficiently and cost-effectively allocate labour for RORO operations. Coordinate daily with fellow Allocators and other departmental colleagues. Communicate assignment details to candidates. Accurately record all assignments and communications in our database. Process timesheets, invoices, purchase orders and other administrative tasks related to RORO operations. Learn how to assist with updating and monitoring of AFP’s Collaborate with the Recruitment Team to address staffing needs and shortages. Issue relevant passes and PPE to candidates. Handle queries from both candidates and clients. Liaise with external agencies when necessary. Essential Requirements: 1. Strong verbal and written communication skills, as the role involves coordinating with team members and external contacts. 2. Organisational Abilities: Good organisational skills with attention to detail, able to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks. 3. Teamwork: Willingness to collaborate and support others within the team. 4. Ability to think quickly and resolve last-minute staffing or scheduling conflicts. 5. Willingness to take on new tasks, learn industry-specific practices, and adapt to changing schedules or priorities. 6. Proactivity: A proactive approach, with a readiness to ask questions and seek guidance when needed. 7. Proficiency with MS Office Suite (especially Excel and Outlook) and basic knowledge of office software and databases.
