Description Grade UE07 £40,247- £47,874 CMVM- Deanery of Clinical Science/Centre for Cardiovascular Science Full-time: 35 hours per week Fixed-term: 48 months The Opportunity: We are looking for a motivated, innovative and organised post-doctoral scientist with expertise in image processing, analysis and kinetic modelling that could support our Total-Body PET national facility. You will have the opportunity to join the “PET is Wonderful” team working at the University of Edinburgh to develop innovative methodologies for Total-Body PET research and clinical application. You will have the opportunity to work on academic and industry-sponsored projects across medical specialties. The University of Edinburgh houses three preclinical PET systems and three clinical PET systems coupled with CT or MRI. Our radiochemistry facility has also recently been upgraded and expanded to house eleven hot cells (3 dedicated to R&D use and 8 for GMP productions) and a cyclotron. This is a fixed term position with full-time hours (35 hours per week). This is regular on-campus working role and is available for 48 months initially. The salary for this post is £40,247 to £47,874 per annum.
