Radis Community Care are looking for a Full Time Team Leader to join our team based in Exning, Newmarket.
Exning Court has 34 one and two bedroom apartments designed to help local residents to retain as much independence and control over their lives as possible. The whole site is accessible by wheelchair.

About the role
For those residents who need support, our care workers strive to help them to retain as much independence as possible, for as long as possible. Care is tailored to the needs of each person, provided within their own apartment and can range from a little help daily to support throughout the day and night time.
You will be the first point of contact for the package, providing supervisions / meetings and support to the Care Workers. The role will require you to schedule / allocate work to the Care Workers ensuring personal care and all care tasks are client specific. You will also support with medication, personal care tasks and offer support within the community.
You will also be required participate in the on-call rota and provide cover for care and Radis’ housing related support duties when emergency cover is required.

Skills and Qualifications required for the role
Previous experience as a Team Leader will be advantageous but not essential. The successful candidate will ideally have an NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care working towards Level 3. You will have good written and verbal commination skills and have a willingness to learn in line with clients needs and expectations.
This role requires you to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
